Easter weekend falls particularly early in 2018 and, coupled with the adverse weather in recent weeks, has crept up on us out of nowhere. So, if you’re still wondering what to do with the four-day weekend, you are far from alone.

Easter Egg Hunt @ East Village, Stratford

This year’s Easter Egg Hunt at East Village in Stratford takes on a Wizard of Oz theme. It’s sure to be one that gives little explorers the perfect chance to get creative before seeking out those delicious chocolate eggs.
The free event takes place on March 31st from 12 PM. Kids will get to find Dorothy on Victory Parade before taking their maps and baskets on the adventure. The event is safe and expertly organised, although parents are more than welcome to join their kids on the hunt.
Final registrations are at 3:30 PM with the event closing at around 4 PM.
Bottomless Bounce @ Bounce, Old Street

Bounce, Old Street offers its famous bottomless brunch every Sunday. However, the bank holiday weekend is an ideal time to take advantage. Doing it on a normal weekend could make Monday morning at work a very painful experience.

Defend The Tower @ Tower of London, Tower Hill

While not Easter related, the ongoing Defend the Tower spectacular at the Tower of London is great fun for young kids. The activity brings over two centuries of medieval battles to life through fun activities and recreations.
Moreover, the heritage and history of Tower is educational and engaging for adults too. Even if you’ve been before, this is a wonderful option for the whole family this Easter. Better still, there is easy access via Tower Hill station and the mainline trains coming into Fenchurch St.

Street Market @ Broadway Market, Hackney
Perfect For: Foodies
London is home to many great food markets, but Broadway market is the one to visit this Easter Saturday. Opening hours are 7:30 AM – 6 PM, and the array of stools and cuisines are sure to keep any foodie satisfied.
Whether alone or in a group, this is the perfect way to spend your Easter Saturday afternoon, not least due to the array of options. When coupled with the vibrant Hackney backdrop, this will tick all the boxes.
It could even be the precursor to a night out on the town.
Ready Player One @ Curzon Cinema, Aldgate
Perfect For: Couples
With reports suggesting that the bad weather may return for Easter weekend, couples may want to cuddle up in the cinema instead. The Curzon in Aldgate is a wonderful cinema, and watching Ready Player One is a great option for a chilled Monday afternoon.
It’s available at multiple times and in both 2D and 3D. While Steven Speilberg’s latest film is a thriller, it’s still a good choice for couples. Not least because it will be one of the more memorable films of the season.
Besides, a walk around Aldgate before or after can be quite relaxing too.
