Open Monday to Thursday from 12pm and for breakfast Friday to Sunday, the restaurant also serves simple yet elegant food with a menu anchored in the best of British ingredients.
MEET THE HEAD CHEF
Tadas, our Head Chef, is from Lithuania and has always been interested in cooking. However, instead of studying hospitality, he chose an international business and economics degree which took him down a very different route. It was only when he moved to Vancouver, in Canada, that he was able to truly explore his passion for food and cooking. Over two and a half years, he progressed from commis chef to junior sous chef, and then made the move to London to join Gordon Ramsay Restaurants to work at Heddon Street Kitchen.
Tadas loves the industry because every day is different. One of the most memorable positions he’s had was as an International Supply Manager. When he started, the company was very small and Tadas helped to build everything from scratch.
He says that this role helped him to ‘focus on the detail’. His position as commis chef in Vancouver was also a huge learning curve. ‘I worked with a super strong chef from Peru who helped me to be chef and person who I am now’. Tadas loves working with strong individuals, and says that he looks up to and is inspired by anyone who is better than him ‘so I can follow them, learn from them, and keep going forward’.
